English test: 20th Feb. 2017 – verschoben!

Da ich morgen krank bin, wird die Arbeit verschoben. Am Montag besprechen wir den “Mock Test“.

Writing: You will have to write a paragraph about a tourist attraction (topic sentence, structuring information)

Grammar:

  • Adverbs of manner (how sb. is doing sth.)
  • Sentence: place before time (Where will they be when?)
  • Present perfect

This test will be about Unit 5, so you should know everything about the Spring Show.

Vokabeln lernen mit “Teachmaster”

Das kostenlose Programm “Teachmaster” funktioniert wie ein digitaler Karteikasten. Hier eine Kurzanleitung:

Download unter www.teachmaster.de; dort findet sich auch eine ausführliche Dokumentation. 

Bedienung:

  1. Editor öffnen und oben auf das weiße Blatt („neu“) klicken.
  2. Oben die Unit eintragen.
  3. Unter „Deutsch“ den deutschen Begriff sowie den Beispielsatz eingeben (für die gefragte Vokabel eine Leerstelle lassen).
  4. Unter „Fremdsprache“ den englischen Begriff eingeben. Alle anderen Felder können frei bleiben.
  5. Speichern nicht vergessen. Über „Öffnen“ lässt sich dieser Datensatz später ergänzen oder bearbeiten, falls bei der Eingabe Fehler gemacht wurden.
  6. Zum Lernen „Lernprogramm“ anklicken und die entsprechende Datei auswählen.
  7. Der Lerndurchgang wird mit einem Klick auf die gelbe Glühbirne gestartet: Die zu lernende Lektion auswählen und starten.

In your next English test you will have to

  • say what somebody has to or doesn’t have to do,
  • make sentences with ‘always, often, usually, sometimes, never’ (adverbs of frequency),
  • make questions with ‘where, what, when’ etc.,
  • write a shopping dialogue
